Hello again! If you've made it to this page, I'm sure you're looking to know me on a deeper level before we work together. I love it, because chemistry when working together is vital. I hope after scrolling through this page you'll be even more excited about inquiring and getting together to chat further!
Luke 1:45, "Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill what He has spoken to her."
I became a mom in 2023 to the most precious, entertaining, full of personality, and loving boy named Paxton Tate. He has completely changed everything I thought I knew about life. I am a work from home and stay at home mom. It is quite literally the most challenging, yet rewarding balance to ever have. I wouldn't change it for anything though. I'm so thankful I get to run this creative outlet of mine while getting to take a break and snuggle up with my baby. Motherhood has transformed the way I photograph families, because I can relate in a way that I couldn't' before. It has allowed me to step into a world I am so familiar with, and document it with pure intentions. I know what it's like to have the wild toddler running around and not wanting to sit still for a photo. I have been the new mom wanting every single intricate detail of my newborn documented in a way I will never forget. I know how important each photo is while your kids grow every moment.
I have always been and likely always will be, the friend who takes the photos. I always want things documented. I always scroll at night through my photos and dive deep into a nostalgic coma. I always see art in ordinary moments. In 2017, I worked side by side with professional photographers. In 2018, I was heavily involved in my church's creative team until 2020. In 2020, I went off to pursue nursing school, but covid had other plans for me. I gave up all the work I put into nursing school and ran with the little knowledge I had about photography. It began as side money and a dream. Five years later, it's become a thriving business that helps take care of my family. It will never feel real that my career is something I absolutely love doing. I get to take part in the best days of people's lives, it has taken me all over the US, and as I have said, it allows me so much time at home with my family.
